In this Marketplace, one can shop on-line and buy top quality local products (olive oil, cheeses, wines etc.) or book for accommodation, hire a car, buy an excursion etc. through a variety of travel service providers.

The Province consists of three beautiful islands Lesvos, Lemnos and Agios Efstratios that are part of the Northeastern Aegean Sea group.
It belongs to the category of these insular districts, which base their economy mainly on the exploitation of their local wealth resources.
The economy of the Prefecture is mainly based on the agriculture and manufacturing and the gross domestic product (GDP) per head of population is about 69.1% in comparison with the country's one.
